
Gratitude in everyday life: The magic of small things
Every day, many magical moments pass us by unnoticed because we run and run in the hamster wheels of everyday life and no longer find the peace to notice the beautiful things along our path.
I encourage you to pause for a moment every now and then and consciously perceive the world around you. Believe me, your heart will be filled with joy and gratitude will spread within you. All you need is an alert mind and an open heart – and a handful of the magical MIRACLY beans.
Take the small bag and put the MIRACLY beans inside. Every time you experience a moment of happiness, whenever something brings a smile to your face—an unexpected call from a friend or the smell of freshly brewed coffee—take a bean out of the bag and put it in the other pocket.
In the evening, when your world slowly settles down, take a little time. Look at the miracle beans you've put in your pocket throughout the day and reflect on the happy moments. Touch each bean and connect with the memories they evoke. You might even want to write down your experiences, thus capturing the little miracles in your life.
